Join internationally known multisport coach and former professional triathlete, Troy Jacobson and his training staff for a weekend of training and learning how to prepare for your next triathlon or other multisport event! Since 1995, several hundred athletes of all levels from around the globe have attended Coach Troy's camps and workshops and now you can too!
The Triathlon 101 Workshop offers a combination of classroom instruction to teach you the basics of triathlon training and racing as well as the finer points of physiology, proper training nutrition, technique, training plan development and how to choose the right equipment. In addition, you'll participate in several workouts during the weekend to apply your newly found knowledge to the road (and pool!). Overall, you'll learn more in a single weekend than most people learn over several years of trial and error.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING: At our workshop, you'll be learning in a classroom setting as well as actually training. We'll be swimming in a local pool so bring your goggles and swim suit. For the bike segment, you'll be doing an indoor cycling workout focusing on technique development and as well as some critiquing (and recommendations) of your bike fit so bring your bike and your trainer (if you don't have a trainer or are flying in from out of town, let us know and we'll have one ready for you.). The run segment will be held outdoors so bring appropriate training attire for late April in Maryland (Temperature in the low 60's and perhaps rainy at times.).
Also, bring plenty of note taking materials for the lectures. We'll have fluids and snacks for you throughout the day and we'll be hosting lunch and dinner for you on Saturday.
