Since 1992, Troy Jacobson has been a leader and a pioneer in the field of multisport coaching. A former pro triathlete, sub 9-Hour Ironman Hawaii Finisher and three time Blackwater Eagleman winner, Coach Jacobson is the creator of the world renowned Spinervals Cycling DVD Series, former member of the USA Triathlon Coaches Committee (1996) and founded the National Triathlon Academy in 1999. His coaching results range from helping newbies finish their first event to training National Age Group Championship winners and Olympic Athletes. The Columbia Triathlon Association is the premier multisport event promoter in the Mid Atlantic region and throughout the Eastern United States.
