OVERVIEW
Since 1995, Coach Troy has produced over 60 exercise videos for endurance athletes around the world. Our first 'Community' Spinervals was taped in 2003 and featured over 100 cyclists and triathletes from the Fort Wayne Indiana athletic community (Spinervals 21.0 -- Aero Base Builder IV). Then in 2004, the athletes from the Minnesota Cycling and Multisport Community 'upped the ante' by hosting a workout starring 200 local athletes in Spinervals 23.0 - Time Saver I! Our goal is to produce a professional workout video while offering you, the athlete, a great workout and memorable video experience. Athletes from throughout the world will train to 'your' video for many years to come and you'll have a workout to commemorate your commitment and passion for cycling and fitness.

CHOOSE A WORKOUT
On Sunday, February 17, 2008, we'll be producing two separate workouts. You may participate in one or both workouts as we'll be accepting registration on a first come, first serve basis. There are NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERING OF REGISTRATIONS OR TIME SLOTS OF ANY KIND should you be unable to make your selected workout. We ask you to please honor your commitment to attend once you sign up. Each workout will be about 60 to 90 minutes in duration. Please be prepared to be on your trainer for at least two hours, if not more, due to the nuances of video production (lighting, audio, etc.). TWO DIFFERENT WORKOUT INTENSITIES. Workout One, the first workout to be taped at 12 Noon, will be an aerobic interval workout session where you'll be encouraged to keep your heart rate within your 'aerobic training zone' throughout while doing aerobic intervals. This workout will have an intensity rating of 7.5 -- 8.0 on a scale of 1-10 and will boost your body's fat burning capacity and establish your aerobic foundation. Workout Two, the second session to start at 3:00 pm sharp, will be a high intensity interval workout designed to increase your power output and anaerobic threshold. Can you say 'suffer'!? The intensity rating will be around 9.0 -- 9.8 on the scale.

While both workouts will be doable by conditioned cyclists of all ability levels, we ask you to carefully consider your current fitness level and choose the workout session that best suits it. More experienced cyclists are welcome to participate in both workouts for a full afternoon of indoor training. If you choose to participate in two workouts, we request that you bring a change of clothing. Ultimately, you must use your good judgment when choosing and participating in one of the Spinervals workout sessions.CALL TIMES AND START TIMES
Video production of this nature is all about timing. In order to accomplish our goal of video taping two workouts, we need to adhere to a very rigid schedule and we'll need your help in doing so. Your "Call Time" (when you show up on location and get ready for your shoot) will be 90 minutes before we start the workout and rolling tape. PLEASE BE ON TIME because we'll be conducting interviews and introductions and will need you for this! If your CALL TIME is 11 am it's very important that you arrive on time and are ready to go. If you are not in position when we start rolling, you won't be allowed to participate.
Call Times: Workout A (10:30 am), Workout B (1:30 pm)
PARKING
Free Parking will be available at the Mercedes Benz Dealership. WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR
Riders may wear their team or club uniforms as this is a great opportunity to gain exposure for your club or team and sponsors. The organizers and producers maintain the right to ask a rider to change jerseys should they deem a jersey to be offensive to any groups or competitive to the Spinervals brand or for any other reason. Bring comfortable indoor cycling clothing, your bike and your trainer. A change of clothing will be required if you participate in two video tapings. Selected riders will be asked to ride our sponsor's trainers and bike, including Kurt Kinetic Fluid Trainers and Spinning Bikes. Bring a towel, a water bottle, a riser block and your choice of nutrition and fluids. RULES AND REGULATIONS:
Please read the following rules and regulations carefully. Your safety is our primary concern. 1. The organizers and producers of the event maintain the exclusive right to deny any person to participate in a workout for any reason.
2. Arrive at your designated call time and register.
3. Arrive with your bike and trainer in good working condition.
4. You must have slick tires. No knobby tires will be allowed.
5. If you have the option, please bring a fluid or magnetic trainer and not a 'fan' trainer due to the excessive noise these trainers create.
6. Listen to the instructions of the producers.
7. Do not walk around on the floor wearing your road cycling shoes and cleats.
8. Please be respectful of the car dealership's property.
9. Please be courteous to other riders, the production crew and other staff.
10. At registration, you'll be asked to sign a liability waiver and release that will give us the rights to use your name, image and likeness in the DVD and for marketing purposes.
11. THERE WILL BE NO MAKE-UP OR RAIN DATE AND NO REFUNDS. Should the taping need to be canceled due to severe inclement weather, you'll be able to order a training DVD from our collection under a $30 retail value.
