A man of considerable natural athletic talent, drive and focus, pro triathlete TJ Tollakson is quickly reaching the pinnacle of the sport.
A former bodybuilder, 27 yr. old Tollakson discovered triathlon in 2001 and quickly reached National class status, winning the USA Triathlon Age Group Nationals in 2004.
An engineer by trade, TJ took a leave of absence to pursue his passion for triathlon and turn pro. His 'breakthrough' race came at the 2007 Eagleman 70.3 as he posted a blistering course record 3:46:28, including an incredible 2:02 Bike split.
With his sites set on Ironman, he recently took 2nd Overall in one of the most exciting races in recent memory at Ironman Arizona.
