VIDEO - A Learning Tool: Race Day Images from the 2008 Columbia Triathlon

The Columbia Triathlon in Columbia Maryland celebrated its 25th Year Anniversary this year as one of the most prestigious Olympic Distance Triathlons in the East. Notable triathletes from throughout the world test their early season fitness on this very challenging and hilly course over the roads of Maryland's Howard County farmland, in the suburbs between Washington DC and Baltimore.

This video shows some clips from the race that you can use to observe the techniques that the modern day triathlete, both pro and age group, use to navigate the swim start and swim to bike transition. We hope that you enjoy it and check back for more 'teaching tools' like this in the future.
