Athletes from throughout the U.S. and Canada joined us for 5-days of running, biking and swimming in the high desert region of S. Arizona. 2008 Aflac Iron Girl Clinic Pics - Columbia, MD
The Aflac Columbia Iron Girl Triathlon 101 Workshop (July 2008) presented by Coach Troy's Triathlon Academy brought over 50 athletes from the surrounding area to invest a day to learn the ins and outs of triathlon training and racing. Guest Speakers included Karen Dubs (Flexible Warrior), Robert Vigorito (Race Director), Sean Galegher (TriSpeed), Cherri Brightridge (Running/Tri Coach), Patty Ponce (Physcial Therapist) and a representative from Polar Heart Rate Monitors - as well as Coach Troy. Topics covered included everything from proper swim techniques to how to transition faster and the day culminated with a run over the actual Iron Girl Race Course...

Physical Therapy Video Production
On February 28th and 29th, Dr. Mark Klion and Coach Troy's video production company video taped two new BodyWorks MD Physical Therapy DVDs on location at Strong & Focused Fitness Studios in Maryland.
The new titles, to be released this summer, include THE SHOULDER and THE BACK. Both are "physician guided' physical therapy and educational DVDs designed to inform regarding anatomical issues as well as provide instruction on various techniques and exercises designed to bring the injured athlete back to regular activity as quickly as possible. Volume one of the series, THE KNEE, is now being used effectively by athletes and non-athletes alike throughout the world. . . .
